The award and distribution of medals is the responsibility of the New Zealand Defence Force. Veterans who have not claimed their medals can make application to the New Zealand Defence Force. Applications must include the veteran full name and service number. Application forms can be downloaded from the NZDF Medals web site . Completed application forms should be sent to:
