Vietnam Veterans’ Children’s Card
The Vietnam Veteran’s Children’s Card was formally introduced on 16 September 2010.
The card was created as a consequence of the Vietnam Veteran Memorandum of Understanding and designed in consultation with the Ex-Vietnam Services Association and the RSA.
Registered children of Vietnam veterans are eligible to receive the card. To date, more than 350 cards have been issued.
Funding is currently available for the natural children of Vietnam veterans when the child is diagnosed with Spina bifida, Cleft lip, Cleft palate, Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and Adrenal Gland Cancer.
Funding is also available for all children of Vietnam veterans for counselling for issues related to their veteran parent’s service.
