Applying for a War Disablement Pension for the First Time
VANZ has released a revised version of its form, ‘Applying for a War Disablement Pension for the First Time’ (VANZ 01). As the form has several audiences: veterans, medical practitioners, case managers and the War Pensions Claims Panel, VANZ purposely consulted widely with all users when we developed the revised application form.
VANZ appreciates the valuable input from veterans, the RNZRSA and medical practitioners in respect to the content of the form. VANZ believes the new form is easier to understand and to complete.
Concurrent with the release of VANZ 01, a revised version of the form, ‘Reassessment of Accepted Disabilities and Application for New Conditions’ (VANZ 02) has also been released.
The new forms are available on request to Veterans' Affairs New Zealand, by downloading from our website (Information Sheets and Forms) or through RNZRSA Pension and Welfare Officers.
