House and Section Maintenance—Veterans' Independence Programme

You may be able to get services that maintain your section and house if you have Qualifying Service.

Who can get this

You may be able to get this if you:

  • have Qualifying Service, and
  • are assessed as needing it to stay independent in your home.

Qualifying Service explained

What you can get

House and Section Maintenance includes:

  • window cleaning — exterior
  • house washing
  • gutter cleaning
  • lawns mowed — up to 1,000 square meters
  • garden maintenance — except tree maintenance.

We partner with Chemwash Cleaning Ltd and Crewcut Property Maintenance Ltd to deliver these services.

What's not included

Activities that are not available through VIP services:

  • lawn mowing of lawns larger than 1,001 square meters
  • removal of trees, soil, flax, or bamboo
  • landscaping of existing gardens
  • removal and disposal of green waste that is not generated from the delivery of services
  • maintenance of vegetable gardens
  • trimming of hedges, shrubs, or bushes over two metres
  • roof treatment
  • deck cleaning.
