Changes to the list of Statements of Principles, October 2018

On 18 October changes will be made to the list of Australian Statements of Principles that apply in New Zealand. The Statements of Principles are a tool to determine if an injury, illness or death is service-related.

Statements of Principles

The Veterans’ Support Amendment Regulations (No 3) 2018 will bring into force 10 new and 18 replacement Statements of Principles.

These Statements of Principles cover:

  • bipolar disorder
  • central serous chorioretinopathy
  • cluster headache
  • Cushing syndrome
  • electrical injury
  • herpes simplex
  • knee bursitis
  • localised sclerosis
  • macular degeneration
  • mesenteric panniculitis
  • olecranon bursitis
  • panic disorder
  • temporomandibular disorder
  • tension-type headache
