75th anniversary of the Normandy Landings

Thursday 6 June 2019, marks the 75th anniversary of the Normandy Landings — also known as D-Day.

New Zealand’s National Commemoration will be occur inside the Hall of Memories at Pukeahu National War Memorial Park, Wellington, at 11am.

The National Commemoration will remember all those involved in the war in Northern Europe during 1944 and 1945. Members of the public are invited to attend the ceremony, and are requested to be seated inside the Hall of Memories by 10.45 am.
